I borrowed a "Montblanc 146" from a Chinese friend and I hope I can show that simply weighing/measuring can show that it is a fake. This one is certainly a fake.
I think this pen is really made to cheat people. It is fully made from plastics. A Chinese pen (design copy) is usually made from brass - at least partially.
length
total: 13.7 cm; uncapped 12.3
(cap 6.6, nib 1.8, feed section 3.2, barrel 8.2)
diameter
cap 1.3, barrel 1.2; nib 0.7
weight
total 18.7 g
(cap 7.9, feed section including nib 3.6, barrel 5.4, converter 1.6)

As I am not knowledgeable with Montblanc pens. Am I correct that this is a copy of a 146? or should it be something else.
Addition
After consultation with members of the Fountainpen network, it is clear now that this is a fake of the Montblanc 145 Chopin.

The fakers stayed very close to the original specification.
