A Unique Parker Arrow

Sometimes you are just lucky to find a pen which is unique or very rare. It happened to me to stumble over a Parker Arrow where I couldn't find any additional information on the internet.

Asking around, I was told that especially Parker had one-to-several piece test-runs and this might be one of them.

So, I proudly present a rare or even unique Parker Arrow fountain pen:

On the trimband is written PARKER, the Parker France icon MADE in France AC and another Parker icon.

According to the Parkerpens.net's Parker pen code pages, AC means that this pen was produced in the 2nd quarter of 1982.

Parker seems to have played around with such kind of designs, see the torsade finish of a Parker 180 which is from 1981.

From the 4th quarter of 1981 is my second Parker Arrow, 12K gold filled (cap&barrel), Made in USA.

The nib writes really smooth. The lines are about 0.5 mm (M). A very nice pen for those who prefer such slim pens. Unfortunately, my pen size is more Montblanc 149 or Sailor KoP.

Waldmann - over the years

Preserving the Legacy A Note on This Research I am presenting these collected findings on Waldmann Pens to ensure that this historical data is preserved for the community, even after I eventually step away from active collecting. I would be deeply grateful for any corrections or additional information that fellow enthusiasts might be able to share to further complete this record. in progress Introduction "Gold und Silber mag ich sehr"—so goes the line of a classic German folk song. While the English equivalent, "I like gold and silver very much," is a simple translation, it became my personal mantra when I began collecting pens. Fate struck in 2017 in the form of a seemingly overlooked pen on Yahoo Auctions. According to the description, it was a Waldmann, crafted in Germany from sterling silver with a star-shaped guilloché pattern. Curiously, it languished through several auction rounds without a single bid. For four weeks, I checked back anxiously, watching and wa...
