It is said that their inspiration came from the braking hoses of their racing cars.
I have seen several models of this pen, all-steel, all-black, steel-gold (this one) and solid-gold.

The nib is one of the smoothest nibs I have ever touched. But I do not consider it to be medium - it is more like a broad.
